24.6. Installation Methods
24.6.1. WordPress Admin Installation — Recommended
The standard method for installing CMD Pro through the WordPress admin interface:

Upgrade
Upgrade from Free → Starter → Pro → Business → Enterprise by purchasing the appropriate subscription plan. After upgrading, install the corresponding edition package.
Downgrade
When downgrading, premium features may become unavailable. Configuration data remains intact but features requiring higher editions will be disabled.
Rollback
If an update causes issues, you can roll back to a previous version by manually installing the earlier package. Always back up your site before performing a rollback.
One-click rollback functionality will be evaluated for future releases based on user feedback.
24.12. Uninstallation & Data Retention
Final data-retention behavior will be confirmed during production implementation and release testing.
Deactivate
Deactivating CMD Pro stops the plugin from running but retains all configuration and data:
- Settings and configurations remain
- Cached commodity data persists
- License information is retained
- Plugin can be reactivated without reconfiguration
Delete
Deleting CMD Pro removes the plugin files from your WordPress installation:
